Another question about epoxy floor coatings. If you follow the instructions and do a 10x10 section at a time, do you need a new bucket for each section or is it ok to just mix the next batch in the same bucket?

Is this a dumb question or what? I've just never done this before and I'm trying to get info from people that have done this before.

I'd hate to waste all that money on the epoxy.

The way I have always purchased it is in a "kit"...it has 3 quarts in a gallon can and a seperate quart of activator that is added to the 3/4 full gallon can making a gallon of epoxy

Same here, I used the same bucket for base and then the same bucket for clear. I was concerned about the same thing but it does not leave much in the bucket and it does not harden before you need to mix the next batch. You will be fine. If you don't have spiked shoes, get them.
