I have the same problem. still haven't come up with a solution other than my wife's smart assed comment that perhaps we should have built a round garage.

our new home has a 22x24 attached garage but the 7' door height is ridiculous. try getting a mega cab 4x4 dually in that garage. not going to happen. I added a 30x35 detached with 12' ceiling and a 10x16 door. problem solved for $50k.
