    Metal cut off blade

I use a regular old wood working mitering chop saw with an 80 tooth blade and WD40.

    Pole Pruner

The pinned style concrete bull float poles can be fitted with a Marvin or Jameson saw head to reach up that high with tolerable noodle effect.

Removal may be best if they are in really bad shape, not every tree can be pollarded/topped with success. One possible solution is to completely repollard during the dormant period, I don't know where you are but being that they are mangos some place warm. That being said removal and replanting...

    Pole Pruner

Being a professional tree guy I'd suggesting shopping thru some of the online retailers. IMO the stuff at big box stores is junk but there are very few exceptions. Good tools make the job easier but at a cost tho worth it if you are planning on taking care of the trees for a few years and more...

10 lbs. of E7018 stick rods Vs. 10 lbs. of flux core wire

The wire will get more inches of weld because your are not losing the stubs.

Metal Spinters: How to Gather While Cutting, How to Clean Up?

I have a few speaker magnets that I keep near to where I am cutting with the abrasive chop saw. It helps, I guess, because there is dust stuck to them but are they really helping, maybe a little. Shop vac otherwise.

    Speed Vise Repair?

I would use it as is. You have a vise in hand and if the "repair" goes south you have scrap metal.

    New compressor suggestions please.

Well my old compressor motor just burned up and I am wanting to up grade from a 60gal to 80gal. Sure a new motor will be cheaper but more air and pressure mo-better. So whats out there that's worth it Quincy? Ingersoll? I need power to spin a 3/4" impact and a pressure pot blaster. Thanks for...

    Chainsaw disappointment

IMO being a tree guy, if you haven't broken some plastic on a saw you haven't used a saw.

Lack of stainless steel toolboxes from truck brands

Can you imagine what Snap-on would charge for a SS box?! They are charging several grand for a basic mild steel box now add SS into the mix. I bet the box would double in price. I am sure Snappy would get a good price on the raw materials but would price it out of most end users pocketbook.
