    Unlock garage door

Look for a spare key you left there. If none, hide a spare key for future use. Is your son/daughter/wife/friend coming to visit? Have one of them bring the key. Pick the lock. Go through a window. Locksmith.

Great update, great room. I have one question: Why .284Rem for long range? Seems like an odd choice when the .260/6mm/6.5mm family is getting all the love these days.

Covering a shop work table: what material best

The top is degrading? How? If it is really a solid door, can't you just plane it/sand it down and refinish it?

How to move this rock Update: Rock Moved

Re: How to move this rock Granite weighs about 150 pounds per cubic foot. A BX25 loader can only lift about 500 pounds, so it won't be able to pick up that rock. Roll it or slide it on skids.

Beware of insulating under your concrete floor.

I'm confused. If hydraulic pressure, not buoyancy, is lifting the slab then why hasn't the slab descended since the water pressure seems to be normal now in that photo?

Beware of insulating under your concrete floor.

Why did the concrete floor rise? Wasn't the floor tied into the walls somehow?

Why are mini-split popular heat source for garages ?

My entire 2,600 sqft house is cooled/heated by mini-splits. One head unit in each bedroom, and two heads in the open living/kitchen area provide plenty of cold/heat for normal days. When we get a few days that are really cold, the heat pump struggles to keep up, which is why I super-insulated...

    Rogue Supply Work Benches

The 72" bench with a wood top is $865 + $137 shipping to my area. So, $1,000 for that bench. Is that considered a good price? It seems high to me, but I haven't priced steel benches.

"Aero-1946" at work - pics of a German hobby workshop project

Very impressive work. You mention that some pieces are for sale. Do you have a price for the Flugzeugschrank and the Fluzeughocker?

    work benches... from scratch

What about the arc fault receptacles? My basement has those and it plays havoc with trying to use power tools. Just starting the miter saw trips the breaker.
