Depending on the size and length of run, the HDPE will stretch. I routinely test large diameter, heavy wall HDPE and it take a long time for it to stretch before it will actually hydrotest well enough that the gauge doesn't drop. With the pressure drop you are showing it is questionable if...
Thanks for the input. I already have a 30A as I thought that is what I would need. But then when the manual stated 35A I was questioning it. I really didn't want to run 8ga NM which is why I was asking the questions. Besides the fact the wires coming out of the back of the heater are 10ga...
Just wondering but the tables in the NEC state that you can go to 35A @ 75C for example (10ga Cu) as long as their are three or less conductors in the cable, conduit, or duct. Since NM 10-2 has only two conductors, I don't see why that rating could not be used? As long as the cable states 75C...
I just purchased a Profusion 6000W heater from NorthernTool. The question is that being 6000W @ 240V draws 25A. So 10ga wire is adequate. However, the instructions say to use 10ga wire and a 35A breaker. I believe the 35A breaker is specified because breakers are really rated at 80% of their...
Just picked up the 44" Box!! Love it. Only paid $349 which of course was the sale price but I have been hunting coupons and the best I found was $359. Happy so far. Darn heavy and hard to handle alone. Was all crated up though which was nice.
Looks like Summit Racing has free shipping and free truck freight currently. Not sure if the shipping issue was still a valid concern. Don't know about unloading either or if they charge you a handling fee. Just saw it and thought I would share. Similar lift I am thinking about.
I just bought some Philips advance 5000K bulbs (82 CRI) with 3100 lumens per 4ft bulb (not yet installed). I really like the 6500K color also and hope I didn't make the wrong choice. Oh well, only one way to find out.
Good deal. I thought it was only wet locations and ceilings weren't considered wet. But now I know. Good thing I installed a gfci when I did my opener just in case. :)
Not to hijack the thread but what are the requirements for an expansion sleeve? Also is S80 conduit req for ug? I am thinking all the ug conduit I bought at HD is S40. And I was using that for stub ups also. I'll dbl ck.
