The VINTAGE toolboxes of Garage Journal!

Thanks! Its a really well built box, though somebody has been rough with it over the years. It could be a Waterloo, but the more I look at it the more it looks like a Beach built box. It has a very similar drawer layout and friction slides to my other tool boxes, which are Beach brand and...

The VINTAGE toolboxes of Garage Journal!

Actually it was $20.... and Yes it had the front cover. I felt bad but there was no way in hell i was going to get it in my 2004 Honda Accord Coupe. :( The top box had to ride shotgun as it was.

The VINTAGE toolboxes of Garage Journal!

Been a long while since I posted anything, but this morning garage sales find needed to be shared. Found this with a Beach bottom cabinet, unfortunately I had to leave the Beach cabinet behind, had no room in my little Honda Accord. I'd have tried to arrange a pick-up with a truck later if I...

The VINTAGE toolboxes of Garage Journal!

Really, nice! There is just something about the old Beach boxes, just a really nice look almost an price of art. I have a two drawer model similar to yours that I keep my art supplies in. Kinda odd I know, but it was the only way I could get my wife to let me keep it in the apartment.

    2015 Garage SaleThread

I found some nice deals this week at different pawn shops and garage sales. Some older Craftsman and Westward stuff, a nice MAC phillips screwdriver, and the biggest tease was the Ko-Ken socket set box. I found that buried under a huge pile of Mastercraft stuff at a pawn shop. Unfortunately it...

Scored this SK set today off Kijij. I actually contacted the guy about a 3/8ths snap on breaker bar but picked this up instead for $40.

    Lurker finally introducing himself

Thanks drivesitfar, I will definitely post some pics of my setup, once I get everything figured out. Luckily I have summer break coming up soon to get that done. As for the truck that was my Grandfathers grain truck from 1965 until about the mid seventies when my Dad upgraded to a three ton. I...

    Lurker finally introducing himself

Thanks for all the kind replies so far! And yes drivesitfar, the summers are awesome here! At the height of summer the sun doesn't set until after 11:00. Makes it really nice to work when you don't have access to things like a concrete floor or artificial light.

    Lurker finally introducing himself

No pics of a workspace unfortunately, I have yet to get a place of my own to work in. Right now my projects sit in the driveway at my parents farm. Hopefully now that I'm out of university and have some teaching experience under my belt my wife and I can start to look for a place settle down in...

Oh I signed up years ago, I just never posted anything. BB767's 1930's shop was what drew me here.

    Lurker finally introducing himself

Hello! I have been floating around this website for a few years. I have just lurked, checking out the occasional garage build thread. Let me say that a few of you have given me some really good ideas for shop organization as well as some awesome tool **** over in the vintage tool section.
