Good to hear. I'll pick one up when the time is right. There's a Northern Tool pretty close, so I don't have to pay freight. BTW, I have not seen one with an American ram. Maybe the air/oil ones are, but I can't justify the cost of those.

Not to get nitpicky here, but 242 is the easy-to-remove blue stuff. The red Loctite is 271. I always thought Loctite primer was just lacquer thinner in a can, but it seems to make the stuff set up better. I use the primer on most stuff now. You can buy Loctite, and a HUGE veriety of fasteners...

The shaft is solid. It appears there is a center hub that's keyed to the shaft. It seems like there is a ratchet between the pulley and the center hub. Not sure what's going on there, but tomorrow afternoon I'll get up there and take a closer look.
