I replaced the sensors this morning. Opened and closed it 4 or 5 times. Seems to be ok, but who knows?.

I will. Hopefully I will swap them this weekend.....been too hot, and too busy.

I have the red light, 2 blinks, green on solid. That led me to blame the sensor. Lenses are clean, wiring is good. The thing that is making me question it is that when I released the door and put it down manually, the red light lit solid. I did the same thing last week and it worked for a few...

That doesn't work. It just moves a bit then backs up. When I first moved it it did that, until i replaced the sensors. That was about 15 years ago. This door doesn't get much use...maybe 4 or 5 times a month.

Hello. First post here...ive lurked for a long time. I have an older Genie garage door opener that is not working right. Not sure what model...i think its from 1990something. When i open it, it will go up, and then the red sensor blinks, twice. It will not close. I pulled the release to close...
