Thanks all. I found out that the joist are separated by 12" apart, so I install 3 GRK RSS Bolts from home depot 5/16" x 3-1/8" per ceiling bracket. not quite done with installation yet, but seems to be holding out pretty good.

The leg is 3"x3" some powder coated heavy steel. - very nice material. It is way above the thin steel that was sold elsewhere. I think I will buy a few if they sell only the bottom without the top for $150, but my wife will scold for buying things I don't really need. ;)
