Mobile work bench and cabinets at Costco $299

Nice bench with positionable side cabinets (you can move them butted together to save space) and matches nicely with the whalen storage shelves also available from costco
Normally 370-380 or so if I remember correctly but they're on sale with an instant rebate right now.

I walked by this bench a couple of weeks ago while I was in Costco with my wife. After she saw the price she asked me how much I spent building my workbench It looked like a good sturdy bench.

I bought this a year ago (the one with the cabinets on top). I do not like the one with the cabinets on the sides (like in the attached thumbnail) as it takes up more space with out offering any advantage over having the cabinets on top.
Otherwise than that, it well built with decent gauge metal.

Not bad. I like that it's mobile but the cabinets on the side aren't the most appealing if space is limited. I wonder if you could move those to the center like the larger pic.

Figures I've been looking for something exactly like that, and 2 days after buying the casters on Amazon to start making my own I see this post.

I like the one with the cabinets on the side, gives me more pegboard room for tools, plus I have the room in the garage for it.. and a garbage can goes under onside and a small tool cab. under the other side.. and your all right, its heavy duty!.. great price.. they sold out the day I got mine.. had about 10 there, came back two hrs later, gone!..

The material looks like those Costco/Whalen mini pallet rack shelf units (how big are they? maybe 6' by 4'). Those things are a deal, $60 for 125 pounds of Chinese stuff...amazing that they can do that.

What I really wish they sold was something like that bench shown, without all the stuff above the bench. Just a steel legged, wood surfaced thing on wheels. I'd buy a couple in that case (for $150 or so).

The leg is 3"x3" some powder coated heavy steel. - very nice material. It is way above the thin steel that was sold elsewhere.

I think I will buy a few if they sell only the bottom without the top for $150, but my wife will scold for buying things I don't really need.

Cabinets are removable. They can be mounted with one on either side or both on one side or not at all.
