I built a 32x36 garage a few years ago for myself. I have two 9 foot wide doors and an 8 foot door, and I find it cramped for the vehicles parked against the walls. I should have went with 40 wide, instead of 36, but it's not a huge deal. I went with 2x6 16" OC, no way would I go 2 foot center...

My garage is 36 wide, and 32 deep with 3 overhead doors along the wide side. I like this configuration, but I wish I had put a door on a 32 foot wall as well. 32' deep is plenty to park a truck in, plus have walk around room and a workbench against the wall. I have 2 daily drivers, a quad...
