I bought a lot and will be starting construction next year. Time to build the dream garage. I've been in a tight two car garage for the last 10 years. I have a four post lift and classic car. I will probably buy another project or two over the years.

My budget allows roughly 1100-1200 sq ft of garage. My needs are the following
-room for the lift and a project car or two
-room for two daily drivers
-room for mower, bikes, snowblower, etc
-space for workbenches, tool boxes, etc

I am thinking 36 deep x 32 wide. At 36 deep I could park a daily driver behind the lift/project. My only concern would be how to arrange the garage doors and with a space that big below an upstairs will I need support posts.

Throw out some opinions/suggestions. Thanks!

My garage is 36 wide, and 32 deep with 3 overhead doors along the wide side. I like this configuration, but I wish I had put a door on a 32 foot wall as well. 32' deep is plenty to park a truck in, plus have walk around room and a workbench against the wall. I have 2 daily drivers, a quad, mower, tools, and a ton of hunting gear in my garage. Plus my kids bikes and whatnot. I only wish I went with 12 or 16 foot walls, rather than 9.
