Mechanics problem solved with sacrificial wrench

I had a compression fitting years ago on a sink line that just wouldn't tighten, and eventually got tightened with a gearwrench box end, that lived there then several years.

    File Shapes

I agree that you can't have too many files, but really depends on your needs. I do hvac and industrial type mechanical work, and I find 90% of the time I reach for a ******* cut half round 8 inch, or a six inches triangle, despite a whole box full of files in the truck.

MAC Open End Flex Socket Wrenches

I had a set of protos up to 7/8. Loved em. Work on a lot of motors and pumps. Only regularly used to 3/4, but they are awesome in tight pump and motor housings, and general industrial work. Router

I have used the Porter cable 690 for fifteen years or so, mostly table mounted. MAC tools vs Pittsburgh (Harbor freight) - diagonal cutters

I own these Mac pliers, I have never see the harbor freight version shown in the pictures, but they definitely do not look to be the same pliers. That said, harbor freight has a long history of copying others designs, with mixed quality results. That being said, the Mac pliers, which I recieved...

    Help needed to find Manometer

Water style of a pain in the ***. A yellow jacket gas pressure gauge should be around 40 bucks last time I checked, will do the job just fine. I also have field piece and fluke differential manometer, both great but they'll set you back a couple hundred bucks. The support looks OK as well, but...
