I’ve been thinking about picking up a polisher... might have to wait a bit longer!
I decided against the Atomics and picked up the DCK283D2 set for less than the Atomic kit was anyways! Very happy with my drill/impact setup now.
I did try PayPal too but couldn’t get it to work either. Either way, the attitude on the other end of the phone from that Farm and Fleet call is enough to turn me off any further purchases anyways. Plenty of other options out there!
Back to DeWalt though, looking at getting the Flexvolt...
Finally going to pick up my Dewalt rolling stool. I’ve never bought anything from Farm & Fleet before but they had it on sale. Their site wouldn’t accept my Canadian address as the billing address while my shipping address is in Michigan. I called and the ******* the phone says they won’t...
I’ve bought from BC Fasteners, Mississauga Hardware, IHL Canada and Atlas Machinery... no issues with any of them. There’s also Blackrock tools but I’ve never ordered anything from them.
Has anyone given the new Atomic stuff a good test? I’m thinking of getting the drill and impact to replace my 12V drill and 20V DCF885 impact. I really like my DCF887 but decided to convert it to 3/8” drive so I’d like to upgrade my 1/4”.
I’ve got the 20v chainsaw too and have used it quite a bit over the past year or so. Only issue was the little flip up oil fill cap broke after using it a couple times. I went back to the store to see about a replacement cap and they exchanged the whole saw!
I’ve had those two for a few years and they are still working great. Lucked out and found the set brand new with two batteries and a charger for $150. The only thing I don’t like is the tiny guard/shield on the trimmer.
As for my new vacuum, I’m very impressed. Nice size, tons of suction and...
My father-in-law and I were discussing that last time he was over. We thought it would be easiest to just replace the cord with a longer one instead of making an extension. I haven’t done it yet to mine but I’m not sure if he has with his yet.
I recently bought a 14 gallon Dewalt wet/dry vac and I’m very happy with it so far. Lots of suction and relatively quiet. Large rear wheels and casters on the front make it easy to move and stable, I was even rolling it around on grass this evening with no problem at all.
Just ordered this 14gal vac last night to add to my collection. I’ll mainly be using as a shop vacuum but hoping it will do a good job collecting dust from my other yellow tools!
I think I did okay, bought it for $133CDN which is about $99US.
