Currently, I use an old Rock Island 674 but find I can use a larger vise at times. After reading all the replies, and doing some research online, I think that $150 is max I'd pay for this one. However, something tells me they won't come down much, if at all, on the price but, we'll see.

Wow! I looked up that building on Google Earth and it has a roof with 21000 SF so, with a mild 20 pound snow load, it would have weighed 424,000 pounds. With a night of rain, who knows...maybe double that.

I've done the same thing on other projects because of labor cost. I'd hate to think what it would have cost me to have my shop built by a local contractor. I haven't started the inside yet but I'm guessing 1500.00

In my last house I used a piece of plexiglass in a frame at the ceiling level on on the skylights and it made a significant difference.
