Atlas Kwik Bay 7000 Installation Notes

Had it for a couple of years now, only real problem I ran into was yesterday - poor spot weld on the release tab on one of the ramps (broke clean off when I was pressing it).

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

Finally finished up replacing the rotors, rebuilding the calipers, repacking the wheel bearings, flushing the brake fluid, then bleeding the brakes on the Toyota Land Cruiser Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk

    Digital Torque wrench

I got a CDI torque wrench and for some reason - the ratcheting head feels a bit cheap compared to my Precision Instrument torque wrenches..

    Cracked Grout

I'll contact Mapei tomorrow, I did contact Fortifiber and they sent me some PDF's. Looks like it's common / unbonded procedure for wooden sub floors and tiles. Tile Modified Thinset Mortar Bed (SLC) Diamond Mesh Lath AquaBar B Plywood Mine was slightly different (below). Tile Modified...

    Cracked Grout

From the pics I took, the Novoplan isn't touching the wooden subfloor directly, I guess the Fortifiber acts like a tub and the diamond mesh lath (wire mesh) for strength (not sure if they put in any primer ontop the fortifiber before pouring in SLC). I'm in earthquake prone part of the country...

    Race Deck Floor Ordered Today!

Speaking of racedeck, I have a platform lift (atlas kwik bay 7000), is it a good idea to put race deck on the entire floor then basically lay the lift on top of it? (It's heavy, may crush it), or basically have a cutout (untiled) that the lift will sit in.
