    Epoxy Floor Repair Advice

Hmmm. Probably won’t look good with a stripe. I wonder if I repair as best I can then do an entire top coat? Does GJ have any ArmorPoxy contacts?

    Epoxy Floor Repair Advice

Looking for some expert input on repairing my older epoxy garage floor. It’s been about 10 years since the original install. Most of the surface (around 70%) is still solid, but I’ve got a few high-wear areas with chipping that need attention. This is part of a broader garage refresh—new...

Help attaching alum grill to alum rod

That looks awesome! I have thought about a different material than AL but it seems like this hex pattern has the highest flow for approximately 1/4 in openings. Its critical to get as much air through in this application. I am going to see if someone makes the hex is steel though...

Help attaching alum grill to alum rod

I'm building a radiator grill for my track car. The grill screen is aluminum and I've used a 6061 rod to test a frame. I need help generating ideas for attaching the grill to the frame rod. I'd like a clean install and would like to avoid using a ton of zip ties, like I have now. I've...

    Home Shop Tire Changer Questions

Reviving an old thread. I've been going to the same tire shop for years but as the cars got newer they've not updated equipment so the wheels are getting more and more damaged. I'm about to buy two more sets of wheels and will not let them get destroyed. If I bought a tire changer a decade...

    Stool for MaxJax lift

I'm 6-4 and can't find anything that works well. I'm going to take this seat from Jeg's, cut the legs down and reweld it so that its only a few inches off the floor. http://www.jegs.com/i/JEGS-Performance-Products/555/W85007/10002/-1?parentProductId=1278808

(portable) lighting for maxjax lift./ car lifts

I use the daisy chain lights from dammar that have the magnets to hold them on the lift arms. Works good for general lighting but for detail work I use a handheld or a flashlight.

Easiest way to get max lift out of a Maxjax (lowered car)

I use the 3 inch race ramps to get the car high enough to slide the arms under.

    Maxjax lifting Uneven

Both, with a load and without. With a load was worse to the point where I was worried the car was going to fall off. I lubricated the channels with silicone spray.

    Maxjax lifting Uneven

I just installed my maxjax today. I had the same uneven problem except it was primarily when the lift was going down. A little off on the way up and waaay off from one side to the other going down. Swapped hose sides and it didn't seem to change things. I also bled the system up and down...

    confused on epoxy

I received the expoy coat system in about 3 days. Pretty fast shipping. Also, it was super easy to put down. The kit has just about everything except for the extensions for the rollers. I'm very happy with the results.

What about the forum sponser's site? Is this comparable to those two? http://www.epoxy-coat.com/
