    I had that timer running my pool pump. I have went thru two of them in the last few years as they quit working. Tried new set pins and still would not work proper. I switched to the digital timer from Intermatic.. No problems so far.

    best lighting configuration for my shop?

    I just helped my friend install t5 8 ft strips into his 25x30'ish garage. 10 ft ceilings.. We ended up installing 6 fixtures. Front to back.. 6 fixtures went up. 4 on the wood shop side and 2 on the car side.. I know it is a different setup than you described but the garage is lit like a Xmas...

    "Build" it with the fire break. Get it inspected. Live with it. But it would be a shame if someone accidentally drove into the fire wall and knocked it down :D :evil:

    I read you above post wiz.. About 2am it hit me like a ton of bricks. I was trying to figure out why I had to move loads around and this setup wouldn't work between the Hondas and my transfer box... When we wired the transfer system up we wired it to run off a 220v 5000 w genny not two...
