Leaking where? It looks like the hex bottomed out on that fitting before the threads were tight enough. Bodge fix is a lot more wraps of thread tape. You wrapping it the right way?
I'm not sure you're going to find a sealed equivalent. The p63 does indicate a high precision bearing and internal clearance of C3.
If you can live with less precision just get a 6211 2rs c3. Are temps an issue for rubber seals there?
That is 100% an assumption on your part and a patronising, condescending one at that. I don't give the slightest **** how much something costs or what brand it is, I care how it performs.
Also, I'm not going to argue with the physics, as stated above. But I still find it hard to believe...
Here's a post I wrote in 2008: Link
I won't argue with the mechanics/physics posted above, but Snap-on bars always seemed to flex less to me too. It doesn't quite make sense to me though. Square bar stock of 50hrc HSS will flex the same as mild steel?
Is it the same material though, with...
How can you tell that's a JIC or other flare fitting and not a female NPT swivel? Not enough thread taper?
I mean it probably is, just curious.
If a flare, probably a scratched or cracked flare seat.
^100% correct and lots of other good advice here.
That said I've had a Fluke 88v for about 18 years, bouncing around in the back of a service truck in -45 to + 35c temps (also a HD road tech) and it's never skipped a beat. It doesn't owe me a penny. But also back then there wasn't nearly the...
In all honesty my grinders rarely have a guard on them but I certainly wouldn't disparage another person for working more safely. Power tools are no place for bravado.
1/4", 3/8" and 1/2" key stock drilled on both ends for a small hair or cotter pin. A good way to store your crowsfeet in a very compact way. Couldn't find a pic easily.
eg I can store my 3/8" 10 - 19mm set on a 3 or 4 inch piece of key stock and they travel well.
Edit: Stole this pic from...
