Well, replies are 2 - 2 on this one. Now that I think about it more, I'm warming up to the idea of using the provided screws on both holes, but it still makes me a little nervous. I always use pilot holes. That's a good point about the edge face.

I'm wondering about the minimum vertical distance between lag screws in 2x4 studs. I have some cabinets to hang, and the brackets have holes for studs on 16" centers, which is fine. But each bracket has 2 holes for each stud, an inch apart (see photos). I'm concerned about putting lag screws...

ptgb, How deep are the drawers on the blueprint cabinet, and how deep are the Schaller bins you used? I'm thinking of getting one of these cabinets and using the 2" deep Schaller bins. The cabinet has 5 - 16"x23" drawers, 2.5" deep.

I'm looking at some of Solar Powered Exhaust Fans, for my garage. It gets real hot in there during the day, and since the door is closed most of the time there is no air movement. Anybody put in one of those solar powered fans? If so, what model was it and did it work?
