Instead of doing a small splinter forend, I carved it into a semi beavertail forend.

Looking at the forearm I just could not leave it like this.
It looked like it was left too close to the wood stove or maybe chewed on by a pointer dog.
Spent the cold months restocking an old double barrel.
This was a semi inletted stock.
There was a fair amount of work to get it to this point.
I should have taken more before pics. These pics were taken after I got the receiver fitting the stock.
Yes all is good. From time to time we get lost in other things.
Winter is a tough time in Michigan. Not much happening outside unless it has to do with hunting. Which I do my share of.
Now that the weather is starting to turn we should be able to get back to some restoration.
