Snap on 1/4 drive ratchet maintainence?

Yes a rebuild kit is available. I just bought one for my TM-70. About $20 for everything (pawl, gear, spring, cover plate) as I recall. You can find the rebuild kit on the Snap On web site but it is a bit of a PIA. Or do like me, and simply call the 800 number for snap on parts.

    Just got a "Snap-on" compressor

I'm confused as to the "Snap On" on the title yet reference to an Eaton Compressor???? Which is it? The Eaton you show is a beast and really on the high side for a 7.5hp motor even the slow RPM motor. The Older Eaton's should have a stamped plate on it with the specs. The Baldor will...

    Cost of copper

It ain't like you're running high pressure steam lines at a nuclear power plant-- 150- 175 psi max. Either copper or iron will work fine. Sweating joints is simple--- you can teach a kid to do it in 5 minutes. Schedule L is more than enough. If you want super heavy spend the bucks you don't...

    Compressor conversion-what do you think?

    Air Compressor Help

Not to high jack the thread, but I think you'll be happy with the Eaton. I just purchased the 80gal 5-hp single stage a month ago and it is amasing how quite it is. Heavy duty, quality components all the way around, including the Baldor motor, dual belts, heavy duty pedistals and mounts, and a...

Water pooling in the new garage...

This is my first post here and hate to start off will anything negative, but I just hate seeing this. Lord only knows what you are paying for a new home. It doesn't seem too much to ask not to have water puddling inside your new garage. Let it breath?----- gimmie a break. What good is letting...
