    Help with floor pour issues.

Kind of what I was thinking. Home owner has info/proof for later (though hopefully it never gets to that). Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Dense Packing Cellulose Insulation - Why not cut a strip?

Great info. Thanks. At those prices, maybe I will reconsider to do batts on the walls and blown for the ceiling (floor of room above). Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Good advice Bruce. Mind if I ask ballpark what that cost? Just trying to cut costs where I can after building the garage. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Dense Packing Cellulose Insulation - Why not cut a strip?

This is exactly what I am wanting to do in the next 2-3 months (maybe sooner). I can't find that mesh at Lowes though. Going to try Home Depot next. Does anyone know if this is something I will have to order online? YouTube video I found of that process: Sidenote: Jealous of that view out...

    Help with floor pour issues.

Looks great. It was a PITA and a lot of unneeded stress but the end result looks great. Thanks for posting and helping others know what to ask and what to look for. Hopefully that contractor learned some valuable lessons as well.

Going to apply Rust Bullet this weekend

I pretty much did but it only took 4 hours or less to dry. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Going to apply Rust Bullet this weekend

Good luck. I was able to do 3 coats of RB (no flake or clear) in one day but my temps and humidity were well above your conditions. As for my expansion joints, I just let some RB in there when I was cutting in the edges of the garage. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Like others in here, I am no expert but I'm pretty sure that is the purpose of expansion joints. Which I think you said you don't have. Controlling the cracks. My 22x30 slab was poured 1.5 months ago and the only cracks are in the expansion joints (now filled with Rust Bullet). Pretty sure...

    My Rust Bullet install

I had to send my wife on an emergency Lowes run when I realized the first roller was no good just before starting the 2nd coat (5 hours after 1st coat). I also got a pan that I could buy disposable inserts for. Had one for each coat. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Can you PM a cost for my 660 sq ft for a 4th coat? I will discuss with my wife on whether it is worth it. If you have a slightly smaller size that would be cheaper, I would be ok with not applying a 4th coat to all of the 660 sq ft garage. The back room where the lawn equipment will be can stay...

    My Rust Bullet install

Nice write up Justin and that is good feedback (off of customers' feedback). Says a lot about a company IMO. Glad this thread has helped too. If I were instructing a friend before they installed it, I probably wouldn't even mention backrolling. But maybe it is because I back rolled...

    My Rust Bullet install

Look at my 3rd post. Most of those pictures show the roller marks. Some spots more prevalent than others. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    My Rust Bullet install

Kind of felt the same way TwinFins but I knew I was taking a chance doing it myself. I knew it wasn't looking right on my 3rd coat doing the "pull" method and I should have just done it whatever was looking the best on my floor. Of course the most obvious roller marks are right in front of the...

    My Rust Bullet install

I think clarifying in the video to use "W" formations when rolling might have helped. I used nothing but back strokes with no pressure on the roller for my 3rd and final coat (like the lady in pink in the background). I actually did use "W" formations when I did the 1st and 2nd coats. I also...
