    Trying to get an approx date of my level. Its 26 1/4" long, I think its Rosewood. Brass endcaps, adjustable. Engraving states patents Nov 11, 1862 July 2, 1872 STANLEY RULE & LEVEL CO. Would appreciate any help. Thx Greg

    The lever does fold down and clamp , but not sure what it was used for.

    No the lever on top has no effect on the clamp. Apparently you secure the clamp to a bench and the lever has some other function.

    I have an old SK socket set that was my father's. 1/2 inch drive. Does anyone know how may sockets were included in the set? I use it all the time and it is one tough set.
