Hey. Ahh, yeah that concentric kit turned into a nightmare. Come to find out, it's not really meant for anything other than greenhouses it seems. You need Cat III stainless pipe and no double wall pipe fits that concentric correctly. I wound up just doing two separate pipes through the wall. The...
I've got a Hot Dawg with the separated combustion that I'm using the concentric venting kit. So far I have the heater and concentric box but I'm in need of the piping. I'm having a hard time figuring out what I need. The heater requires 4" piping. I think I need a double wall pipe for the vent...
I live in Connecticut and plan in mainly cooling with the mini split. I'm currently having a 38 x 44 pole barn built that has 12' ceilings. It'll have R30 blown in insulation in the ceiling and R19 in the walls. It'll have two 9x10 doors and one 10x10. There will also be three 3x3 windows. When...
I'm in the very beginning stages of this project. My plan so far is 44 wide by 36 deep and 11' ceiling height. It'll be a truss roof with cathedral trusses on the far left bay and the rest will be attic storage trusses. I think I'll do permanent stairs on the inside along the right side wall...
Yeah it was pretty easy. I just went to the die grinder page and selected parts and it was right in there. The new jacket is much more pliable than the original was.
You can buy the new jacket from the Snap-On website. It's about $12. I ordered one yesterday but it shows that it's out of stock. We'll see if/when it ever comes in.
I just saw that on their site. I ordered one but it said they were out of stock. I'll see if it ever gets shipped.
Did you have to take the grinder apart much to install the new one?
Has anyone gotten the plastic grip replaced on their Snap-On die grinder? I picked mine up off the peg board the other day and noticed the grip was all cracked and broken. At this point about a 1/3 of it has come off. The grinder still works fine it's just not very comfy to handle anymore.
Has anyone had problems with the cast press plates? I picked up an orange one a couple weeks ago because I liked the fact the top was welded rather than bolted. I was a little put off by the cast plates though.
