I'm in the very beginning stages of this project. My plan so far is 44 wide by 36 deep and 11' ceiling height. It'll be a truss roof with cathedral trusses on the far left bay and the rest will be attic storage trusses. I think I'll do permanent stairs on the inside along the right side wall. It'll definitely have 10' wide doors and I'm thinking 9' tall. Is there anyone out there that's done anything similar to this? Any input, good or bad?
Thanks.

I built this garage at my last house primarily as a view block. It is 53’ wide and only 24’ deep (site constraints) by 10’ tall.
The left bay has a cathedral ceiling to clear a 2 post and has a 10x10 door. The other doors are 9 and 16’ wide. I was very happy with how many cars I could fit, but it wasn’t on a lake like my current shop.

Mine is similar size (36x42) but situated with doors on the short side. I felt I’d have more useable space that way. Depending on what you’ll have in there I feel 12’ doors would be more beneficial.
For reference I have a 16’ & 12’ door
