Umm I'm not exactly sure on that one

Yes this is a stock tv cable that goes to the carb.. It a th200 trans on a 77 impala. What made me think it was the governor instead of the tv cable is the fact that the car wasn't always shifting late..it's a 3 speed trans

Yeah they did a visual and road test and that's how they diagnosed it was either the tv valve or the governor...

I took it to get a diagnostic test on the transmission and the the problem came up as the governor or the tv cable but I doubt it's the tv cable because the tv cable wouldnt just adjust itself on its own right? So It must b the governor, my transmission shifts from 1st to 2nd gear late...

Yes there was quite a bit of metal debris in the trans pan when I changed out the fluid and gasket, so this means it's more then likely A body valve problem? If that's the case I most likely will have to change it out for a 350, it's nice to know I might have the last th200 in insistence

I know for sure that the th200 does not have a vacuum modulator/transmission modulator. I'm still learning about this transmission but I look into the tv cable
