Are you sure you have a 325? I'm with Bob on this as I have never seen a 325 without an oil pump. It does sound like a valve issue though.

PM Hiball. He can sell you a kit or rebuild your unit if you ship it to him. That series of jack is not that hard to rebuild though and makes a nice afternoon project.

Just got back into town but to answer your question, mine is single phase but 5 HP is 5 HP. Single phase, 3 phase, 220, 440 or whatever, it takes the same amount of juice to create that much HP.

You will need a 5 HP motor to run that pump at 850 to 900 RPM. I have a 5 HP Baldor on mine and it will run nice and cool at that RPM range.
