What is the reason for an inward slope down? I would think that you would want the outside end lower so any rain water that gets in would not drain into the garage?

I second Paul R comments. Plus if you have a Lowes around that stocks Epoxy-coat you can get it cheaper then on-line potentially, depending on what you want.

I ground the whole floor and then acid etched the two front bays but not the back one, and more fibers were definitely exposed from the acid etch that needed to be burned off.

Thanks. Total cost (epoxy, grinder rental, extra chips, extra supplies) was probably around $1,500. If I had extra $ and time to spend, a second clear coat would have been nice. In hindsight, it would not have cost much more to hire the floor prep (grinding & patching) out. An option worth...

I just did my floor. I used a hand held angle grinder with diamond cup wheel I got at Menards for $50 and just ran it along both sides of the expansion joint at an angle to V it out, and it worked pretty well, and it did not take long. Then I put the foam backer rod in and taped off both sides...

Well, I decided to acid etch those two car bays again. I picked up Muratic acid and did almost a 1:1 ratio. And then I power washed it. It still didn't seem to rough it up too much though, but it's a little better and as good as it's going to get. And Christine is was able to get another...
