it literally beeps non stop, even when in use. if that is a battery saving feature, i will probably upgrade to a better model.

it does this with the generic battery it came with, and a brand new duracell. the hold button works fine, and is not pushed in. i can not find anything about this deficiency online, and may just return it tomorrow.

Hello gentlemen, I just purchased a klein mm100 and think it may be defective. it reads fine, but after being turned on for 5 minutes it starts to "beep" on all settings. like i said, it still reads, but there is an annoying "beep" that does not go away when turned on. any suggestions?
