    As said do not snap the tungsten, it will splinter farther back past the snap point internally and cause arc wander.

    When I get the base plate removed I’ll show some pics. It is really bad, I can fix it no problem but time vs cost is becoming more important to me as I get older. There are giant holes in it, would definitely take a chunk of the day to fix. Then convince my neighbor to re cut the surface.
