New Drill Press, Nova Voyager 5800

I have a Nova Voyager on order, until today it said it would ship today, now just says out of stock (and I tried to buy up the two used ones I have seen - never heard back from either seller so I assume they were gone in an instant). I have a part-time business use that it will be uniquely...

Recommend a high quality 6" needle/snipe nose pliers with side cutter

I have a pair of Channellock E326 pliers, and at least my pair meets all of the requirements, in addition to the bonuses of a high leverage cutter design and a small set of nut grabbing teeth.

    Your Recommendations for a Multi-Tool

    1. Pliers 2. Phillips screwdriver 3. Scissors 4. Pry tool 5. Cutters 6. Everything else but can opener (I used once to see if it worked) and knife (why suffer with this when I have others?). I very much wish they would make a pliers-width "P0" and get rid of the knife on one side and the can...

    Your Recommendations for a Multi-Tool

I had a number of Leathermans that I pretty much used once and then they went away, in a go bag, a car, etc. My wife got me a Leatherman Free P2 and I have carried it every day I have worn jeans since. It is game changing as far as speed and ease of use. Now that I carry it all the time, I...

    Shallow broach sockets

The deep sockets in the Husky 200 piece socket only set are shallow broach. That was a nice surprise for me.

Sockets for wrenches - still available?

I am so glad. I get so much from this site, it is a privilege to get to give back. There is an SAE set too while you are at it and the ringstop wrenches are perfectly nice.

Sockets for wrenches - still available?

I got a set of 8-19mm free when I got a set of ringstop wrenches (I must the be the last person in the world that loves ringstop ratcheting wrenches as long as I also have normal ones). Part number 22978 from Mobile Distributor Supply gets you an 8-19mm set for $11.98 plus shipping according...

Can I change flux core welder polarity?

I ordered a bunch of stainless. I will take a picture as long as you promise not to use my welding as standard of if a product works or not!

Can I change flux core welder polarity?

Thank you all so much. After seeing the responses yesterday and reading some more, I got a basic inverter flux core welder, reversed the main wires at the ground clamp and the wire gun, and everything is working much better than I would have guessed with the 308LFC-O. Thanks again!

Can I change flux core welder polarity?

Thanks to both of you! I trust the replies on here, and do not trust things like this on YouTube without some verification. I appreciate you both taking the time! I currently have a Forney Easyweld 125. Very basic but gets me through property repairs around here. Based on the wiring diagram...

Can I change flux core welder polarity?

I have an extremely basic flux core welding setup. I use it rarely, never for any critical structural or safety parts. I do not have access to welding gas, and do all of my welding outdoors. I would like to make a couple barbeque parts out of 304 stainless rod and if possible would like to...

Huge Felo Giveaway from KC Tool!

The Knipex pliers wrench has changed the way I perform a number of tasks inside and outside. I have every size except the 125 and 400 and will very likely get the 400 at some point.

    mini mills

I have a Grizzly G8689 with air spring, belt drive, 3-axis DRO I pieced together inexpensively, and phenom engineering ring light. It does everything I need at home, but I have access to full size mills offsite and sometimes use them. I hardly ever tilt the head, but I am happy enough to have...

    Dewalt String Trimmers

I stayed away from the 18v/20v outdoor tools because I did not believe they would keep up with gas. Being heavily invested in the Dewalt 20v/60v system for my cordless tools, I purchased the 60v trimmer and blower earlier this year as I had previously gotten a couple Flexvolt tools and I...
