Bought 4 optima batteries within a month or two of each other less than 2 years ago. Bought the special Optima charger too. Just got rid of the last one a week ago. Pure junk. Never again.
John Bean lifts are made in Canada. I have their scissor lift and love it. They make the lifts for Snap-on and others. If you go to Snap-on's website, it will link to John Bean lifts.
Depends. I've bought some really great body tools and a paint gun from Eastwood, but have also gotten some poor quality hammers and dollies from them. Overall I like them. Decent value.

I have never found reasonable prices on quality tools at a pawn shop. When they start at retail prices, it doesn't even make sense to dicker. Glad you found a good deal.
