Thinking about buying a 10,000 pound used John Bean lift. Can anyone tell me more about them? Are they as good as Rotary? Maybe only as good as Bend Pak. Please let me know any information you can tell me. I already looked at the model. It is 10,000 lb, assymetrical, 144'' high, and 106 3/4'' between columns because it is assymtrical. If it wasn't it would be 120 between them. I was told it was 3 years old!!! What should I be paying for a used lift like this also??????

Made by wheeltronics, OK lift better than bend-pak, how much depends on local market, keep in mind a new rotary installed is about 3500 anywhere in the us.

Exactly. I'm thinking I could try for $2000.00 I don't want to go much more then that. They have it for $2,900 OBO. They are saying they paid $4,600 for it 3 years ago. Dealing with the guys wife I guess. I asked if any accessories came with it? Her reply is "Like what?..we r selling it just like we bought it..tell me what u r looking for?"

John Bean lifts are made in Canada. I have their scissor lift and love it. They make the lifts for Snap-on and others. If you go to Snap-on's website, it will link to John Bean lifts.
