I am near the Canadian border. Nearest shop I found was about 150 miles away. My cabin is even more remote. When I get back there I will pull the pump out and get better photos. It is similar to that one, but not the same.

It is made by A.O. Smith. I was unable to find any shops local to me that do this type of work.

There are no leaks. This is probably the first time I have come up empty in an internet search. No parts or diagrams. Not even a picture of a similar pump. If anyone documented a rebuild of one of these, it would be a Garage Journal member. :thumbup:

For those of you in the cold climates with daylight floor drains, does it ever freeze up or is it not an issue?

My garage was just professionally epoxied. Looked great but was slightly tacky after 5 days. Contractor called the product rep who said to put a clear layer of epoxy on top. That was done. Seemed to harden up properly. After a 7 day cure, I parked on it and the next day, when I pulled out...

OK, can you tell me the name of some other products that are not mail order only? Is it typically ground flat? I was just going to scrape the excess off with a putty knife before it hardens. :thumbup:

Anybody use anything besides the $60/tube Polyflex 93 with the Rocksolid garage floor coating? How about a crack filler for hairline cracks that works with Rocksolid? Thanks!!

Thank you for the info. I'm finding that none of the local rental places and home improvement stores have a grinder available. Most of the sealer is already worn off. Would the muriatic acid do an adequate job? How much better is a grind vs etch in this situation?

It looks like the Rocksolid kit does not stand up to UV exposure. What do you use on the part of the slab that is outside the garage door-usually 6-12 inches is exposed? Does the Rocksolid Clear coat have anti-UV properties? What about using Rocksolid Concrete Coating on that part...

I can grind or etch if need be. I do need something that won't be too slippery when the tires have snow on them. What do you suggest?
