    Heating/Cooling shop

I believe i have gas line, haven't tested it to measure sure it still is this. I definitely have power and that is likely the easiest route. I need to look more into those 'hybrid' Mr cool diy systems.

    Heating/Cooling shop

That would be my DIY mini option. Curious if good option or if central system better. My main goal is to keep the garage above freezing in winter and comfortable in summer if I go out to work on something. I tend to keep it 50-60's in winter. If I can get it to 80's in summer that's find.

My Shop Internet Service Plan - Advise please

From horror stories I've read i would put fiber in conduit. I know I'd dig into it off not or I'd get a dog that would. 😉

My Shop Internet Service Plan - Advise please

Sorry, was trying to do something else when I red your question and apparently skipped some. While I don't have experience with fiber, I'm not sure that would be necessary.... though I also prefer to overkill. Cat6 would likely get you well over 1g speeds, i think up to 10g at around 100...

My Shop Internet Service Plan - Advise please

Can you dig a small trench and lay some direct burial cable? I would think that would be the best. Eero is a good setup as well, AI recommended mine for the wired backhaul, which is why i went that direction. IT friend agreed. I had nest before.

    Heating/Cooling shop

880sqft garage with 19' vaulted ceiling attached to another 16x18 garage with maybe 12' ceiling height. Everything is mostly insulated and working to finish it off by this winter. Currently, I've been heating it with electric heat and I can fairly easily keep it 60+ in middle of South Central...

My Shop Internet Service Plan - Advise please

Probably won't help you as my shop is only about 20-30ft from house and is wired back to house, but I kept fighting issues with my old mesh setup and went to TP Link's BE63 Mesh setup and am beyond thrilled with it. Being as the house has lathe plaster walls and my detached garage/shop, all my...

The rolling jack trays would be my recommendation, but not sure going to accomplish what you want.

Lift modifications Thread- Lets see them!

I have a 4 post, so I used sticky double sided tape and put it up under the ramp. Then zip tied the cords up neat.

What to put between concrete and Leg on 4-post lift?

Well, I think the vinyl floor tiles are great, but maybe need better adhesive. What the other poster showed earlier looks interesting as well. I'll replace mine next time I put it on the dollies.

What to put between concrete and Leg on 4-post lift?

Personally, I'd worry about the walking on something very thick. I'm not saying my lift moves all over, but not being bolted, the legs do seem to shift a little. 1/8" or so padding underneath wouldn't worry me, but 1/2" I'd be a bit concerned if the material gets pushed out. Anything will...

What to put between concrete and Leg on 4-post lift?

I installed 12x12 adhesive floor tiles. What i have found is that the lift, ever so slightly walks/shifts and slowly pushes the tiles out. My long term plan was race deck floor tiles, which would get it off the concrete, but alas the sales lady hasn't been getting back to me. Sent me...

    Heating/molding Racedeck tiles??

Don't have digital heat gun. I'll look them up. I have heat gun and temp probes and infrared thermometers. Maybe that would work? Using a few spares for shims isn't bad idea either.

    Heating/molding Racedeck tiles??

    That's good to know.

I thought about the gas grill.
