Garage shelving going out the window

I bit the bullet today. Looked at some other options in person, and for the money and the given spaces I want to install it, Performax looked to be my best option. I want 2 shelves above my toolbox, and to remove my existing 3x8 work bench. I've got another area I'd like a couple more shelves...

Garage shelving going out the window

I actually just found the Performax stuff this weekend. Is the Extreme stuff that much better? Do you have any pics of yours?

What kind of tools have you found in the road??

Found a whole box of tools once from a passing truck. We picked it up and chased the truck down, and he proceeded to run... OK, we're just trying to give your tools back... full set of Craftsman combination wrenches (I latched onto the 13/16-1 1/4" wrenches, dad took the rest.) A...

Snap-On screwdriver quality vs the others

For years I swore by Craftsman screwdrivers. I have a drawer full of miscellaneous Craftsman screwdrivers, from losing and/or breaking them. I'd wait until the big set went on sale super cheap, or on clearance from an open box. Cornwell ran a screwdriver trade in sale like 13 years ago...

    OLFA Hobby Blades

I have an Olfa 9mm snap blade knife on me at all times (clipped next to my trusty 20+ year old Winchester pocket knife) , one in each of my vehicles, a couple in each toolbox, and a handful in my bedroom. Super useful.

Compound miter saw for cutting steel tube

Looking at replacing my trusty Dewalt DW715. Im finding myself wanting to do compound miter cuts, and this saw just won't do them. Ive got 120v and single phase 220 available. Anybody got any recommendations?

    Need some ideas.

Here's what the whole thing looks like. The original building is a 30x40, with another 20x30 added on to the back at songer point with a flat roof. Im planning on removing the slider door (splits in the middle, only half is open in the pic) and installing a vertical opening door. The...

    Need some ideas.

it's not really a security concern at this point. It would be really hard to get through it too get in. Strategic shelf placement. Lol Normally in the summer ive got a squirrel cage fan that I use to circulate air for the time being, other than the open door slider door, and the open...

    Need some ideas.

Ive got an aging shop, and some of it's battle scars are becoming an issue. First order of business is this window... bit I don't know what I should do about it. Obviously several id the panes are broken, and the frames are rusty. Obviously, being single pane, they don't retain heat...

    Looking for door recommendations.

I've got an older shop that has sliding doors on the front facing the road (the right of the attached pic), and one on the side facing the driveway. The one facing the driveway doesn't get used much, so it's still in good shape for the most part. The one facing the road however, is getting...

20ft Car Trailer Build Planning Ideas

Wondering the same. I'm looking to build this winter/spring, and have been looking for an open center beaver tail idea, as the cars i typically haul have very low clearance in the front. I really like the looks of this one.

    Air system setup

It's currently disconnected (and has been since I put my compressor in) for that exact reason.

    Air system setup

Hey guys, new here, have been lurking for a couple weeks, finally decided to post. My current shop is a 40x60 block building that was built in the mid 50s. The front half us 40x40, with the back half being 20x40 and separated by a cinder block wall. The rear half seems to be an add on, as it...
