I ordered some screw up adaptors from Amazon I want to see how far the go into the stack adaptor just to get an idea of the max height. Interesting in my google search there are not many companies with aftermarket Mohawk parts.

I like ,I like. It's a little to tall for what I want but thats what I'm thinking. Your idea with the Rotary screw adaptor is what I want to do. Did you mill the stock yourself or sent it to a machine shop? And if you sent it out can I ask what they charged?

Oh boy you are correct in getting out of RI. 32" of snow and the storm is still going on. Turning down anonther brand adaptor theoretically might work. I just dont want to get into a safety issue. I would think that turning the adaptor down vs manufacturing a new one from scratch would be...

I third ,forth ,fifth the lousy Craftsman brand especially the 1/4" ratchets

The only problem is its like a room where the lift is with junk all over. Once I see what is in the ceiling I think I could pry it up as long as the guy didn't rest the ceiling joist on top of the columns. And then I could use an angle grinder to cut the anchors. Hopefully not light the place...
