Thank you for all the info! I am going to knock off the dobber nests, sand what is left of the paint smooth and hit it with some matte clear. I will post pics as I move along. Thanks again!

Help with Identifying Maker of Old Toolbox

I checked the box and it does not scream Snap On like they usually do. Not stamp mark, serial # or anything. There is a oval shaped indention on the front left cover panel that looks like a badge of some sort was there at some point...no rivet holes. You can see the indention of the oval from...

Help with Identifying Maker of Old Toolbox

Jack...I will check the back for a stamped date code/model number. Seems like it would have rivet holes on the front for the badge if it were Snap On but I am not an expert. I will check it out in more detail and let you know. Thanks!

Help with Identifying Maker of Old Toolbox

I found this old toolbox kicked to the curb and wondered if someone could identify who made this? Is it worth saving??? It is missing paint and rusty but fairly straight and the drawers function well also. Thanks for any help!

Vintage Stack On Military Toolbox Resto

I finally made a decision on the the old military cabinet. I decided to sand down the cabinet and reshoot with a matte clear. I tested a portion and it came out nice! I will update as I move along.

Vintage Stack On Military Toolbox Resto

I might just do that. Seems as though the last time it was painted with black paint the prep was not that great as you can run your hand down the side and the black paint starts flaking off. I might just sand the loose paint off and then hit it with some clear matte finish. Thanks for the notion!

    Vintage Shop Chairs or Stools

I have plans to refurb my garage this summer and just trying to figure out the direction I want to go with chairs/stools. I like the old drafting stools and older military style chairs. Anyone have pictures / recommendations on chairs and stools? Thanks!
