    The Skunkworks Build begins

Grizz...Bear hahaha I was close. Been a couple years since I had seen him. Matching on the doors would look better for sure. If the inside is getting rocked don't forget to put a block in the center for a garage door opener to mount on. Hay I saw this today...

    The Skunkworks Build begins

Wow Herb it got off to bad start but starting to come around. Looks good and Like the extras you put in. Going with roll up industrial style doors? Too bad Robzilla moved to AZ. He worked for Clopay and got Kerry a good deal on his doors. That "Bear" from the clean up on the bobcat?

Between 705 & 1200 SQ/FT I'd love to have a shop that looked like this.

There is a old station like that one in North GA. I am racking my brain to remember what town its in. No longer a gas station but it is still in use and they keep the place up and have memorabilia from the time on it. I want to say its in Adairsville.

    My Modest Little Garage

Nice use of your limited space. The brick work is amazing. You just don't see that type of brick done state side anymore. It is either a wood frame build with a brick venier or its cinder block with a brick venier.

A Few Pics of Foose's Garage

You need to concider some of the most praised Boyd cars are the ones built when Chip was there. I think the Delehey and Cadzilla had a LOT of Foose influence as well as his work. Most of the swoopy major body mods like the above two cars were done when Foose was there. There have been very few...

    Tool Rust Removal

I posted this in the other thread but here it is again. Couple gallon of water, Washing powder, couple feet of wire, chunk of stainless and a battery charger. Removes all the rust even in the hinge of plyers. Then a nice coat of MACHINE OIL. WD 40 is ****. It evaporates. If you need a...

best air compresser for the money ?

Re: best air compressor for the money ? Ohhhhhh man now thats some quality stuff there! Looks like a Compressor from and aircondtioner! Makes plenty of PSI just no CFM. I'm less worried about the compressor and more worried about the tank. That compressor can make 300PSI no problem but...

    Shop Vac storage

I have a place under the bench that it is suppose to go. Right now there is a Vespa and Muncie 3speed in the way LOL. Like others have mentioned make it stationary most of the time. The plan has been to run a PVC pipe from under the bench to the top of the bench where the Miter will be used...

    18x18 or 20x20 garage

Yep. My Suburban I don't think would fit in a 18. Unless you are only ever going to work on small cars its just not enough. Mine is 19 now but about to take the wall between the store room and the main garage down to get a few more feet. My 70 LeMans is 4 inch away from the garage door and...

    I have kids....Nuff said?

couple gallon of water, Washing powder, couple feet of wire, chunk of stainless and a battery charger. Removes all the rust even in the hinge. Then a nice coat of MACHINE OIL. WD 40 is ****. It evaporates. If you need a penetrating oil get PB Blaster. WD 40 has almost no better lubrication...

    Oh god...lmao

I guess I am pretty lucky. My Mom builds some heavy duty stuff. She is pretty handy with a miter saw and hammer. She can mud a wall with the best of them too. I get her over here at my place (fixer upper) to help when we fix the walls. Our problem is we **** heads on how we will...

    Attractive Residential Rollup Garage Doors

Is that door insulated? I am really surprised you picked a dark color like that in AZ. The doors where I work in the late afternoon sun are huge radiators of heat. You can feel the heat off of them when you get within a few feet of them. They actually get hot to the touch and they are white...
