Snap-on Flank Drive Plus vs. Matco Opti-Torque Pro

Ive been getting along with a set of craftsman wrenches for years now. They arent nearly as pretty and i wouldnt know if they grip as good but they work for me. What i do use a lot more is gear wrenches, love those.

Buying a new drill - Corded or Cordless?

Would you not say that a cordless tool with no good batteries is worn out? I'm not trying to devalue corded tools, they have their use and also have longer life spans. We only have the manufacturers to blame for always changing their designs in order to sell us new tools instead of new batteries.

Buying a new drill - Corded or Cordless?

If you get 10 years out of a cordless id say you got your moneys worth. corded drills also go out of style, look at the incredibly heavy bulky corded drills of the past. Hardly nimble wouldnt you say? Nothing lasts forever under professional use either.

Buying a new drill - Corded or Cordless?

Buying a new drill - Corded or Cordless?

I would go cordless first unless you plan to drill a lot of holes. Drilling holes does kill the batteries faster. Most cordless drills are rated to 2000 charges as far as battery life goes. Id also invest in a li-ion 18 volt cordless, the extra power and longer battery life is worth the extra...

    Rolair VT25BIG

what im wondering about is with the rolair, being a 100% duty cycle compressor, should i be worried about the smaller tank size? it does deliver 6.1 cfm at 100 psi, which i think equate about 4.9 @ 90 psi. Being a 100% duty cycle does that mean that it always has that much pressure in the tank...

    Windshield lifting vacuum suction cups

Just do some practice runs with a friend to get the feel of it. I've installed many windshields this way before i decided i wanted to afford suction cups. Taking the hood off the car may help as well as it sometimes gets in the way on older makes and models. If you still want to buy some i...
