US General 26in box in 6 colors now

Has anyone tried to bolt this to a 44" series 2 box to use as a side cart? I am tempted to try it. I would remove the fixed casters from the 26" box and bolt it to the fixed caster side of my 44" box so the set would pivot near the middle when turning.

Anyone- 4 post lift review of Atlas 408-SL??

I just installed a 408 and I like it a lot. FYI - it does have a double lock feature. Primary locks are controlled by the release lever and a secondary lock is set if the cable loses tension.

44x48x16 shop, poolhouse, bball court Garage

Awesome build, sir. I haven't been on here in a while and this one caught my eye b/c it was being called a "pool house". And then I saw you mention a Gen 1 Lightning in primer. I find this all funny b/c I have a "pool house" build and and a Gen 1 L in primer...

    18'x32' Gambrel "Pool House"

Thanks all for the kind words. No plans to work on it this winter. I have some other projects to get done (like paint that Lightning!). This spring I will rent a trencher, run power out there, and work on the inside. I got a few shutters on. A few more pics below:

Sorry guys, been a while since last update. The building help up well through the remnants of Sandy. No shingles were lost, despite some pretty serious winds. Since then I've finished siding it. I have some shutters to put on and then it's pretty much done for this year.

    18'x32' Gambrel "Pool House"

Thanks! The Lightning has been a two year on/off project that I plan to paint this winter. I disassembled the frame and had all the pieces sandblasted to bare metal and I started over. Everything you see on the body in primer is new metal. The truck has a 393 stroker in it and still runs on...

    18'x32' Gambrel "Pool House"

Quick update (even though I'm not sure anyone is reading it): The weather this weekend was awful. I was able to get one side sided on Friday, and then got the garage door up today. It looks like the leftovers from this hurricane will prevent any progress from occurring this week. And...

    18'x32' Gambrel "Pool House"

A little update. Soffit is done, gutter, downspout and PVC lines underground are in, and dormer window is installed. I probably had 3 full days in the soffit work. The gambrel ends really sucked. Up the ladder, down the ladder, move the ladder, repeat. I had a gutter guy come and spit out...

    18'x32' Gambrel "Pool House"

Thanks for the replies guys. I guess I never posted any pics of the stairs, so here you go: My plans are to finish a 10' x 18' section downstairs on the man door side. That will be an entryway and have the steps to upstairs. Upstairs is going to be finished to have a cabin feel. All...

    18'x32' Gambrel "Pool House"

The township requires a 10' setback from the property line for outbuildings. I am there. I also went to the max allowed height. Had a fairly productive weekend. I finished roofing the backside and installed a ridge vent. Then I put in 7 windows and the man door. Now it's time to hang soffit.

    18'x32' Gambrel "Pool House"

Well, the pool house is 18x32x2, so 1152 sq ft. My attached garage is 1576 sq ft. The house is only 1040 :) Sent from my SCH-I510 using Tapatalk 2

    18'x32' Gambrel "Pool House"

The Garage Journal is very much to blame for this project. Three years ago I added on to my attached garage, turning a standard 2-car garage into a 6-car work shop. This summer we added a pool, and I decided I'd test my building skills and build a "pool house". This is an 18'x32' 2-story...

    How do I finish this?

Call the company that provided your trusses and ask if the plates can be trimmed. I bet they can be. That would be your easiest and cheapest solution.

Need advice on two post lifts.

If you're considering the RTP9, you should take a look at the Direct Lift Pro-9F. Same lift, but $1k cheaper and no ALI certification. I have one and I have no complaints. It is stout.

Craigslist ad for new Rotary Revolution Lifts - what do you think?

Here's a little more info on the Revolution lifts. Revolution and Direct Lifts are the same lift manufactured at the same facility, one is ALI certified and one is not. I personally own a Direct Lift Pro-9F: http://www.directlift.com/Pro-9F-Two-Post-Lift-P43C8.aspx And it is identical to a...
