I have been running my business out of my detached home garage for the last 2 year. Business has been good so it was time to get some space.
I looked around and found a 1600 sq/ft shop with showroom and office. It used to be a bakery so it was pretty nasty.
First thing I did after getting...
So I picked up a new compressor today.
an Emglo
its 460v but can be wired for 208/240
I wanted to have the motors rewired for 208/240v is that something a motor shop should do or could I do it?
Also I was planning on running 2 VFD's to control the motors.
What is a good way to hook them up...
I recently picked up this real nice Rockwell belt grinder/sander
I gave its quick clean up and all I need now is belts for it. I am going to use it for metal work.
Where is the best place to get these and what grit is suggested?
I was dumpster diving and found an entire huge dumpster full of records. I asked the workers and they said they were told to gut and demo the building. I called some friends and we pulled out over 10,000 records out of there. Many of them mint and many picture discs and promo discs.
I did my bandsaw Red/silver
My lathe I did green
I did my arbor press white
I also have a small sensitive drill press I may do white/black/polish
still thinking

Nice Job, I come from a Family of Sprites and Midgets. I have a bunch of doors if you wanted to replace one. Not sure where your located though. I have a 58 Bugeye and a 72 Midget ex SCCA racer.
Its interesting that you posted this up. I have the bandsaw stand and I have a mystery stand. Looking at the pics it may be from a belt/disc sander. Not sure. I was trying to figure out what its for.
Here is my bandsaw
