Well I am finished with the building with the exception of hvac and tools. I hope to be adding both soon.

The turned down slabs I have seen they use 2x10 or 2x12 to frame. I am not sure about insulation but I see you are up north so it probably may need insulation. Also you probably need to see what others are doing slab wise in your geographic area.
