i plan on putting cameras on the house eventually, never really thought about a security system or alerts or anything like that. i dont know much about security systems.
mostly physical barriers, metal bars etc, at work we have rebar across the windows and interior bars across the insides of doors so if you try to kick it in you cant get in, but those must be removed from the inside. id like to keep the mandoor access if possible. although i hardly use it. would...
Im looking to add some "security" on my mandoor and windows of the garage. now i dont live in a bad neighborhood but my garage has a ****** homemade door of plywood and some 2x4s. the windows are original from the 60s single pane and very low to the ground. infact one is already broken and...
im in will county illinois. i am worried the front half of the garage may be settled, if so its definitely not going to be up to code. not sure if its repairable most likely would have to tear down and build new. may have to just live with the garage for now.
Wow thanks for all the replies! i do not plan on doing this immediately, just thinking about it. originally i thought add block aswell. but the floor is cracked and is also a big concern of mine. not sure how deep the footings are its obviously not on a slab. added more block is just more...
i recently purchased a house with a 27 x 32 cinderblock detached garage. right now i have 8ft ceilings with 7ft garage doors. my father and I have been throwing around the idea of jacking the roof up 2 ft and building a knee wall, then siding the whole thing.
10 ft ceilings would be much nicer...
im not hating the milton. i honestly think its very good for $30. its really durable. it will outlast anything else you can buy. i just dont think it works well for semi tires.
it is not the shrader valve, its the valving inside the milton inflator gauge itself. i can put a regular straight "lock on" inflator and fill the tire up FAST. maybe ill just find a nice quality gauge to use instead.
im looking for a good inflator gauge. ive used the milton s506 style at work, and it just doesnt cut it. its great for car tires, but filling anything like semi tires or anything past 80 psi just takes forever to fill. this is with the compressor set at around 125, our big shop compressor is set...
