Finally broke my trusty Harbor Freight breaker bar

Only breaker bar I've ever broken was a 90s craftsmen 18in bar. I had a 4 or 5 foot bar on it bouncing. When it broke I hit the ground my dad and my buddy who were working with me laughed. that was probably 17 years ago now.

My ole lady's dad is 64. Still healthy, retired, and active still. a garage full of harleys in various states of disrepair and tools. 2 drag cars as well. his plan is let his kids make some money off it. He said its his and he never dreamed he'd have any of it growing up a poor kid. He plans on...

Are Fluke Multimeters Worth The Substantial Extra Money?

I have both a amazon Ex-tech and a fluke at home. honestly for everything home and hobby related they are both fine except testing capacitors in my furnace and A/C bnit. the fluke has a setting for microfarads as the Ex-Tech does not. Other that that I prob grab the EX-Tech more often not at...

Check out Torque Test Channel on Youtube. Great data driven reviews and comparisons.. On the low end of pricing check out Hercules and Buaer from Harbor freight, Craftsmen released a very budget friendly 1/2. Ryobi is always hard to beat other than looking at them. For a at home platform...

The Official Tekton Tool Thread . . .

I've had a set of Tekton Metric wrenches for a few years now. Actually on my second set. Lost a few too many of the first set through moving around during my separation from my Ex-Wife. I bought the set I still use when they were 60 bucks a set. I've been wanting to get more of there stuff. I...

Thinking about getting an electric impact for the home shop

I have a older Rigid 1/2 impact, gift from a buddy a few years ago. good tool but does hold candle to a cordless 1/2 impact. My M18 is worlds better than it so is my buddy's Hercules ultra torque is as well. Actually my Fuel 3/8 mid torque will pull car lugs faster than the coded tool. It...

    8x14 motorcycle shed.

It has a garage but the available space in it for me to use is about 7x25. There is a bedroom built into it and I have to build a 4th bedroom due to my family size. That takes up most of the garage. I'm got a spot close I'm going to build a garage after I get it leveled. It's hopefully going to...

    Multi Process or Dedicated TIG?

I would be looking at a Just Tig unit. Make sure the unit has HF start (saves money over time in tungsten annd just easier to use) and the ability to use a pedal. Both of those will make a huge difference in your welds and ease of use.
