Adding a cinder block foundation to existing shop

Moved out of the rented shop this weekend. Would have had no problems if we stopped before our last run. Wind picked up to 50mph gustswith a ton of sand/dirt. Made for a miserable last trip. Now the shop is cluttered up until I get things put in their place. Still need to drywall and...

Yea, I have the braces for the tracks, just waiting to get a little more done on the interior. I have the safety cable but wasn't really planning on putting it on. Guess I better do it, though. I didn't think the springs would ever break.

Thanks guys. Got the garage door tracks at the local overhead door company for $28. Still need to finish the door install, its sorta temp'd up right now.

Adding a cinder block foundation to existing shop

We have almost got all the siding up, just lack half of the west wall. Started putting up insulation and the wood wall on the south bay, moving out of my rented shop this weekend. <a href="http://s1225.photobucket.com/user/draggahj/media/Shop/20130317_164422.jpg.html" target="_blank"><img...

I got all the holes in the wall filled with insulated sheathing today. Rain is coming tonight so we'll see how well we did. More pics tomorrow.

A little perspective on how much dirt I have around the shop. This pic is from about floor level looking out the new man-door I installed. <a href="http://s1225.beta.photobucket.com/user/draggahj/media/Shop/20130308_112206.jpg.html" target="_blank"><img...

I put a 10" piece of rebar in the slab every other block and J-bolts for the sill plate. It seems pretty solid.

New(ish) garage door semi up, in uncleaned condition. Fits nice, but need to buy longer side rails. The ones I have are for a much smaller door I guess. <a href="http://s1225.beta.photobucket.com/user/draggahj/media/Shop/20130307_184108.jpg.html" target="_blank"><img...

Afraid...no. Dislike it, heck yes. I just want/need this shop leak-proof. I'm paying $250 a month shop rent. I need to get mine ready for all my junk. My poor Jeep misses me, I just know it.
