I have the Hercules branded HF grinders. Not in production but the get used a little every week and do fine for me. I like the fact that they have quick change guards that allow use from 31/2" to 9 or 10" between the for either cutoffs or grinding. I like them. Just my .02

I like this but not sure I want to handle it only because it would be live with out Electric company involvement? Been hit by 220 once and 440 once. Once was enough :)

This is the problem I have. Mine house main has a full shut off with an interconnect that just blocks out the generator when not in use. But the shop has no main with an independent meter. How would one handle that kind of sitiuation?

Plumbed air, lift full bathroom and lots of LEDs 5K I think. Oh yeah. TV and stereo surround

The 1st one came with the four wire so I changed pigtails on the others. Cant' think of any good reason except as mentioned the expense of 4 wire

Yes I know it doesn't need it but does hurt anything? They seem to do fine and if I ever need 4 wire it would be there already :)

Yeah. Lowes is closer and Amazon was cheaper for the plugs.

What would be best for a 10 or 12 foot extension from these? Also is there a downside to running 4 wires to any and all 50 Amp pigtails?

Haven't seen this because it is probably too simple. If a caster is rated at 125 lbs does that mean 4 casters would hold 500 lbs?
