I just received a letter from Snap-on informing me Snap-on’s old(er) Canadian, UK, NZ & Australian online store's website (buy1.snapon.com) was hacked this March. Taken was customer’s full name & email address (no credit card info) . Some encrypted passwords were also taken. Also there was a...
I bought three of the early aluminum workmates for the cost of the current version in the original post. Much better quality. They make excellent tool stands. For cutting sheet goods a couple pieces of extruded styrofoam tossed on sawhorses does for me.
The Workmate thread...
Two options to think about-
1. Contact Leeway Workshop for their aftermarket guard (I used one on another brand of tablesaw and liked it) http://thesharkguard.com/sharkjetxacta.php
2. One of the newer ideas is use GRR-RIPPER push blocks instead of a guard (I haven’t tried this). You still need...

It's a miniature toolbox kit with 1/4-inch ratchet set, screwdrivers and wrenches!
Looks like Ultimate Garage has them:

I’ll gently disagree that the quantity of cameras has improved over time. My Nikons and Leica rangefinders from the ‘70s & 80’s are still going strong, but I’ve had probably 4 or 5 different digital cameras in the past half dozen years. No denying that the digitals are far more convenient, tho.
