Had About Enough Smell of Oil This Week

LOL :lol_hitti Actually that truck has 1.3 million miles on it, and I have less than $23K in it, and the camper I pull I have ~$15K in...saved my whole working carrier to buy it when I retired... You are a bit short on the Harley...that cost me ~$21K in 2005, and the Biscayne has me beaten up...

    Pole barn roof trusses

2x4 or 2x6 Purlin/girt choice is based on the design strength of them. A #1 SPF 2x4 Purlin is much stronger than a Construction Grade 2x6. That same is true with the Girts.... Living in Ill the codes are a bit week, but you want to withstand a 100mph wind load, which translates to an 80# psf...

Concrete slab specs and rebar evaluation request

Geesh, I am running...

Bathroom vent in pole building question.

Punch the hole thru the roof now. Go to Lowes or some other store and buy one of the flashing's that has a stretchable rubber boot on the top...stretch it over, make a small collar on the top and use a large radiator hose type clamp. It will NOT leak, and can move with the winter/summer...

Adding a Concrete Pad to the back of my Garage

My error... I was looking a the yellow lines as concrete ending lines...not dimensions... I am old school and never got used to the computerizes dimensions without arrows, etc....:shocking:

Adding a Concrete Pad to the back of my Garage

Depending on the area you live in, I would check to see if codes allow a "French Drain" (which is essentially a bunch of gravel below the drain area) with a trench in the middle....the water then drains directly below into the gravel and slowly dissipates in to the soil below. Second option is...
